The Malaysian Tourism Authority won the bid for Season Two of Contender Asia. It was a very tough decision, as Singapore, Thailand, Macau were also bidding, but the Malaysian Tourism Authority got the thumbs up to be the host country for Contender Asia Season Two.

In a special press conference in Korea, the World Muaythai Council (WMC), the sanctioning body for Contender Asia, the Executive Producer of Contender Asia, the General Secretary of the WMC and the host and mentor announced Malaysia to the world.

There were representatives from over 70 countries who joined the press conference to congratulate Malaysia on its win. The President of the Malaysian Muaythai Federation, who also attended, announced that Season Two will be showcasing Malaysia in a way the world has never seen Malaysia before.  The Contender Asia fever is spreading around the world and the world is eagerly looking at Malaysia to see what they have to offer.  Malaysia Truly Asia.
