The beautiful Capital of Madrid was the host city for another WMC-Contender Asia qualifier, the biggest muaythai event ever staged in Spain.
Gustavo Luna (Iberican WMC Champion) was the main undercard fight against Aboutsi Jerome (French Champion). He brought the house down with a stunning victory leading in to the opening ceremny of the WMC Super 4 Contender qualifier presided over by H.E. the Mayor of Madrid and H.E. Dato Naymun Ashakli Mohammad, Malaysian ambassador to Spain. The draw was done and it was the home boy Rafi Zouheir versus Nelson Hurtado for the first match, which proved to be one of the most explosive fights of the nights; the fervent crowd went crazy as Rafi went on to win the round.
Fight two was Abdoul Toure from France Vs Fedi Merza from Austria.
This demonstrated to be one of the closest fights of the night with Abdoul winning by spilt point decision.
