Im so excited to start muay thai please give me some tips so i dont screw up lol im really super excited and i really want to do well any help will be appreciated thanks in advance!!!

find a gym first, check around, talk with the instructors.

Make sure to put your handwraps on, ask your Coach on how to do them because everyone is different for putting them on.

Use 16oz gloves for pad and Sparing, Bag gloves for the heavybags(I use my 16oz's for the bag, but Bag gloves are slightly better for the bags).

Get some good Quality gloves! Twins, Fairtex, Windy, and everlast are the brands i like the most. Twins and fairtex are my Favourite.

Keep at your own pace, Rest if injuried, don't carried away or else your going to have a pulled ACL like me.

Most important, Have fun! :D

Make sure you stick with the basics and then work your way up.  Remember muay thai is a very technical sport, you let your guard down once and you have a one way ticket to the floor.   Be attentive  in class and always ask for advice  with the  more experienced fighters  at the gym.  Train hard!
