Fight 4 Yod vs Bruce

Round 1

Yodsanklai starts the round by unleashing one of his renown left kicks. Both fighters look confident as they test each other out with kicks in the first half-minute.

With one minute into the round, Yodsanklai leans away from Mcfie’s punches and slams in a huge left kick, staggering McFie and leaving the crowd gasping from the sheer power of his kick.

Mcfie regains his composure and finds the target with a kick. Yodsanklai remains unfazed. In fact, he seems nonchalant and whips in two continuous left kicks. Mcfie looks stunned by the lightning fast kicks and retreats.

Yodsanklai closes in on McFie like a predator and eventually finds his prey with a left punch to the midsection followed by a right hook and left kick.

Yodsanklai finishes the remaining 30 seconds of the round with high kicks to McFie’s right arm and the Aussie responds with a couple of half hearted jabs.

End of round and Mcfie’s right arm is bruised and blazing red in color! He has not landed a single solid blow—a great start for Yodsanklai. The crowd is clearly impressed with the sheer power of Yodsanklai’s kicks.

Round 2

The second round starts like the first with both fighters exchanging high kicks. McFie makes partial contact with punches.

The pace quickens after the first minute. A furious exchange of punches initiated by Mcfie but with Yodsanklai once again putting through the better stuff. He has the final say with a big hook that staggers Mcfie again. The Thai has got big power in his fists as well!

The pace slows. Yodsanklai continues to connect with left kicks as McFie tries his best to stay out of harm’s way. He obviously wants no more of the destructive kicks! Second round again dominated by the Thai.

Round 3

Mcfie slips and falls to the ground as he misses with a high kick. Yodsanklai keeps up the pressure, closing in on McFie with his main weapon-the left kick.
The Thai’s strategy of intimidating Mcfie with the sheer force of his strikes is working. Mcfie has no choice but to keep absorbing the Thai’s kicks with his right arm. He can’t afford to drop his arm or one of the kicks is going to find his neck or chin!

Round ends with Mcfie’s right arm looking really awful. His corner man is applying ointment to his arm. I doubt he has got much power left in his arm.

Round 4

Mcfie slips and falls again! This is definitely not doing any good to his confidence!

The Aussie turns it up, landing punches and the Thai counters once again with his left kick. Yodsanklai continues to close the distance to keep up the pressure. Mcfie bids his time and throws the occasional counter punch and low kick. A big left hand from Yodsanklai finds its target just before the round ends.

Round 5

Yodsanklai throws another left kick to start the last round. Mcfie replies with a low kick and slips once again! Mcfie tries to come back with punches that Yodsanklai coolly avoids before shrugging his shoulders and teasing the Aussie. The crowd is cheering in anticipation as Yodsanklai powers in another left kick, leaving Mcfie backpedaling once again!

With ten seconds remaining, Mcfie finds his second wind and lands with a flurry of punches and connecting with an uppercut. A case of too little too late as the bell signals for the end of the fight. A unanimous and impressive victory for Yodsanklai!

grake.....thanks for cleaning up the report

hey not really my effort... don't need to thanks me...

A very disappointing fight. I was really expecting a good fight yesterday. It turns out he's all mouth and no guts. I hope next week's fight is very explosive.

Bruce's a great fighter but was clearly shaken by the sheer intimidation and power of Yod's kicks...He seemed to be dazed during the intervals....

It must have hurt like hell for Bruce to use his fists after the damage to his right arm by Yod's kicks! Ouch! You guys saw the colour of his right arm???

I thought bruce fought well. just no match for yodsanklai's legendary left kicks! plus bruce wasn't retreating every other second like rafik in his fight. I don't think bruce fought badly. Just that Yod is in a class of his own! truly.

i think some people need to remember that Yod is top 2 in this weight division in the world, or maybe even top.

So saying Bruce was "all talk" is not right, as he is fighting the best of the best and yod would make most people look bad. Yod has knocked out or down some of the other biggest names in Muay Thai, so going 5 rounds with yod is not a disgrace. Also yod took out Bruces greatest weapon by taking out his right arm with his kicks, so he struggled to use it at all, good tactic

Agreed! his right arm was all swelled up!

Would like to watch Yod lose for once though...Malaipet and Souwer are the two guys i reckon could give him a run for the $$$ 888

Sound like you're pretty impressive for yourself... Why not you try taking your glove and enter the ring against Yodsanklai?

the only thing i dont like is that yod and sower are fighting k1 rules, so even if he gets beat from sower, i would think its an empty victory.

if it was Thai rules i dont think he would have much chance at all.

well said scotmuay! very strategic of yodsanklai. he did say before bruce has heavy punches, and did his job take bruce out early. i still think preacher is a good fighter! still sad to see him go round 4 man! shucks!

also from blue team, david, sean or zidov? i don't think any can take out yod either. narupol left. hee hee.

It's very funny when people who don't know the mt world are commenting Preacher as a medium fighter just taking under the consideration one fight with Yod in reality show- LOL, go see the doctor. Just because he is not in the final doesn't means, that Soren, Zidov, Sean or Dzhabar could stand a chance with him in the Ring. Just remember when in episode four the whole blue time said that the only person in their team who can face Yod is Bruce, they know who is Bruce- the famous Australian Preacher, hope that some of you "internet smart-asses" will learn something about contenders from this season.

There are a lot of European fighters that also could face him and some Japanese fighters. But they won't pay to bring them in.
