Dedicated to Mr Parr ( Senior )

I was extremely touched by a comment left by JWP on my YouTube Channel telling me how his father got to watch his fight against Yoddy there and how he had loved it. As most of you would know, JWP's dad was diagnosed with terminal cancel just weeks b4 he arrived in Singapore for the final match. One can only imagine the mental state of JWP entering into the fight!

Thus, I have dedicated the 3-part Fight Clip to the Mr Parr ( Senior ) and ask fans to join in wishing JWP and his dad strength through their ordeal.

Thank you guys and Nyghtsky for the rhead. Been spending almost everyday with Dad since I got back from Singapore. He is now in hospital full time and its killing me as a son to be by his side and watch him in so much pain. Yesterday was a tough day, Dad had up to 5 morphine injections but nothing was helping, they bought out the super morphine and it finally made things steady just before he went to sleep. I havent had much to do with cancer before this but its the worst thing I have seen in my life and would wish it upon anybody.

Just got to keep strong and be with my pop as much as I can.

Sorry if this thread is depressing, wish it was a funny thread like the rest of them.

To JWP and family. All our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. I am sure you've made your dad very proud with everything you've achieved thus far! And your popularity with your fans is a testimony to your character and strength in the ring ... and now your strength outside it as well.

Death is not the end of life, it is merely the end of the body we inhabit in this life. When one life ends, another begins - and in this way the wheel of death and birth keeps spinning around and around.

[/quote]I know what you are going threw. My grandfather had the same thing a few years ago. Because I never had a father, my grandfather was replacing him for me and I can tell that his impact had big influence on my breeding. Still remember that ouwful 1,5 month in the hospital, spending there 12 hours per day. I understand your pain, Wayne Parr and I can imagine by flashbacks what kind of weight you have to lift every day.

My fiancée is also your fan, knows about the situation and we both are supporting you spiritually. Take care WP.

Thoughts and prayers are with u, JWP.

He nvr gave any excuses bout his family situation when he lost at the finale. Tats the kind of warrior JWP is. Respect Sir.

But somehow..im kinda relieved he lost coz i dun want to see him stripped to his undies like wat he did after beating Dzabar. Wat a sight!!  **my attempt to lighten up this thread**

Not sure if you want a update but the morphine is starting not to work, he has a machine on him full time pumping morphine in him every hour, still gets pains so today (worse I seen so far on dad) injection morphine, hour later another injection, 45 minutes valium, half hour later another injection. Thats not including the moutin of pills he is on. When I left after all that he was still hurting. Its worse everyday, so hard to watch but when its you family you will do anything.

Tomorrow another day at the hospital, tomorrow another part of me dies.

Thanks again to everyone and the couple of people that have been where I am and know how crap cancer is.

Bad news guys, My dad lost his battle tonight against cancer. The last two weeks I was with him from 12-8pm everyday and the last two days I was with him the whole time and sleeping at the hospital. Last night his kidneys failed and was starting to vomit blood and delusional, last hour he is wheezing every breath and tell my there is blood in his lungs. I was hold his hand and after a hour he stopped wheezing so I was happy for a second, then he's breaths are shallow, then they turn to half breaths, then quater, then he stopped all together at 5:15pm 13/05/08.

Love ya and I will miss ya mate.

JWP, know that death ends a life, but it does not end a relationship. The bond you have with your dad will stay with you just as long as you keep his memory alive in your mind and in your heart. He will always be your father and you will always be his son. Take comfort in knowing that, in a very real sense, your dad is very much here with you now, wherever you are. His spirit and his memory live on in you because you are so very much a part of him. When you really think about it, in many ways you are more inseparable now than you were before, because you are not limited by space and time and distance.

Please accept my deepest and heartfelt sympathy over the loss of your father.

Dear JWP, i can only offer you my deepest and sincerest commiseration for your loss. Hope you can some consolation in the fact that your dad's probably relaxing now in that place upstairs, sipping a pina colada, playing a round of golf or something :) Stay strong.
