CA Malaysian Qualifier - International Muay Thai Superfights

Mandate International and the World MuayThai Council (WMC) today announced a collaboration to bring the inaugural International MuayThai Superfights Series to Malaysia. Taking place on Saturday, the 5th of July - the public can expect a night of non-stop action never seen before in Malaysia.
 

We will also witness the emergence of Malaysia’s best Muaythai fighter in the Qualifier of The Contender Asia Season 2!

Date : July 5, 2008     Venue : Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam, Malaysia

Just forked out RM250 for the VVIP seat. Hope it's not blocked by adverts and stupid cameramen like the CA Finals in Singapore... With Malaysian Fans, we'll probably throw rocks!!!! ha ha

Adam Shahir Kayoom aka Adam Vargus ( if he's participating ) is probably Malaysia's best. He was the crowned champion of the 2006 World Muay Thai Middle Weight Championships and the 2006 Muay Khmer Middle Weight Championships.

FOUR Malaysian muay thai (Thai boxing) fighters will have a shot at securing a slot for the second season of The Contender Asia.

The hopefuls in the fray for the Malaysia Super Four Fights endorsed by the World Muay Thai Council (WMC) are Bernard “Headhunter” Radin, Khoo Meng Yang (“Red Dragon”), Tengku Shahrizal and Hashim Ramli.

 Bernard Radin: Bagged Malaysia’s Ultimate Warrior title last year.

Power-packed: Tengku Shahrizal is ready for some action in the ring.

Red Dragon: Khoo aims to become the Malaysian representative.

Young talent: At only 19, Hashim is still undefeated.
